Fantastic Long Naked walk from Aberthaw to Dunraven

The weather has been amazing for the last few weeks, It has been so warm that we have pretty much spent all of our time at home and in the garden naked, so much so that we pretty much have only been putting clothes on to go out to the shops or for work. We have also been out a lot enjoying the sun and spending as much time as possible walking naked.

Marian came to stay with us for a few days to spend some time being naked 24/7 (as her husband Drew is not a fan of naturism), and we managed to do an amazing nude walk that I have been thinking about for a long time.

The walk is long (around 10 miles) and basically strings together a few of our shorter walks into one long trip. I had been waiting for a good opportunity to do the walk with Andi as I didn’t want to do it on my own as its a bit of a commitment, with lots of points where you have to pass spots where textiles may be on the beach and i wasn’t sure what kind of response I would get. I felt that it would be better to do the walk with a woman to “soften” the encounters.

As it happened, Andi decided it was too much to take on, but I was able to persuade Marian to do the walk with me when she was staying with us, to be honest she didn’t take much persuasion, as she has become a real lover of naked walking in public. This actually worked out well, as Andi was able to support us by driving to meet us at strategic points on the walk with water and snacks, this meant that we could do the walk without carrying any bags, the way we like to go, totally naked, with no emergency coverups or clothes.

We set off from the car park at Aberthaw, trying to time our walk so that we arrived at the point at the western end of Stout Bay as the tide as falling, just enough that we could get round the point. We had a pretty uneventful walk along the beach here, only passing two dog walkers, but we did see a couple of people on the costal path at the top of the beach, and a couple sunbathing on the beach near Summerhouse Bay.

We approached the beach at Llantwit Major with a degree of trepidation as we could se a number of people on teh beach as we approached. In the end it was OK, although we had to pass a few textiles as they walked down the beach, and there were a few fishermen at the water. Andi had parked up and was waiting with some drinks and snacks for us (but not our clothes – they were in the car!), so we sat for 15 mins or so just to the west of the beach access point.

We continued on past Tresillian Bay which was deserted, and on to St Donats, which wasn’t deserted and We had to pass a few people out on the beach here, and we had a few surprised looks as we walked past and said hello. One guy (with his partner) just gawped and gawped at Marian, which amused her immensely!

We pressed on towards Nash point which was our next arranged meet up with Andi, but which was a fair distance away. The beach from St Donats to Nash point is simply beautiful, with an amazing wave cut platform, and spits of sand, depending on the tides, and looks amazing, so we really enjoyed this part of the walk. The beach at this point is pretty exposed to the cliff top path, and we could se a few walkers up there. We didn’t meet anyone on the beach itself, but we could see people on the beach ahead of us at Nash point.

Sure enough, as we got to Nash point we could see a few people on the beach, some down at the water edge and others sitting further up the beach near the aces point. We walked on, until we saw Andi, 50m or so past the access point near the top of the beach. She saw us and walked down to meet us with some bottles of water. Andi had been there about an hour and had taken the opportunity to get naked and do some sunbathing, so she was naked as she came down the beach to meet up. I admit that I was so pleased to see my naked wife that I got a bit of a rise as she walked down the beach, this wasn’t helped by Marian who couldn’t couldn’t keep her hands to herself and it obviously amused the two women and one guy who were sitting together about 30 meters from where Andi had been sunbathing.

After a rest and some drinks and food Marian an I set off again. Andi walked about 15 mins with us, then turned back, to then drive on to meet us at Dunraven bay. We walked on, along a very quiet stretch of beach until we got to the access point for Monknash beach. Again there was a few textiles at the top of the beach near the access point, but we just walked past and continued along Monknash beach.

This is another amazing place, with very dramatic scenery and is quite popular, so we expected to encounter a few people on the beach, especially as it was approaching low tide, but surprisingly the beach was almost empty. We just walked on but ended up stopping to briefly talk to a M/F textile couple in swimmers walking towards us who asked us what we were doing walking naked on the beach. We explained that we loved to walk naked on beaches, and that we had just walked naked all the way from Aberthaw. Their chins nearly hit the sand as we explained, and we left them wondering what kind of odd species they had just encountered.

We walked on past the ledge at the western end of Monknash beach which always has some naked people camped out and headed on past the ladders towards Dunraven. Andi had stashed her stuff on the beach at Dunraven and walked naked eastwards to met us with a bottle of water. We met up just west of the ladders and went down to the water edge on a sandy spit to have a drink and rest. We all had a dip in the sea to swim and cool off, then headed back towards Dunraven Bay. We passed two male walkers who were heading east (they had a good gawp at the naked bloke with two naked women!), and we met a lone naked guy who was sunning just up near the top of the beach, and then suddenly we were at the beach at Dunraven Bay and Andi’s stash.

The beach at the Dunraven bay end had a few people on it, mostly wearing swimming cozzies, but there was a few naked people (men and women) in evidence, so we stretched out for a well deserved rest and and more water before having another naked swim to cool off.

The tide was well on its way in by now, so we packed up and (reluctantly) put on some clothes to head back up the steep path back to the car, then home for some proper food and a well deserved glass of wine in the garden.

This was easily the best naked walk we have ever done, but i was glad to have a naked woman with me – Probably avoided a few issues when we were walking past some of the textiles. It was fantastic to do the whole 10 miles fully committed to being naked, with no bags, or emergency cover ups. For us it is the only way to walk naked, we really get a buzz from the proper commitment this gives us.

It was very hard work at times as it was such a long walk, and we would have struggled to deal with the logistics without Andi meeting us with drinks and snacks a couple of times. Originally we were planning to park a car at the far end, and leave a stash of clothes and drinks on the beach at the Dunraven end and then walk the whole thing fully committed. The day we did the walk was so hot that we probably would have had to take a bag with drinks and snacks in it, as 10 miles is a long way without any!

Its is a fantastic walk though, and fully recommended to anyone who really wants to go for it and push their naked beach walking to the limit. Bear in mind though that you are guaranteed to meet textiles, and need to be totally confident in walking naked in public, and be happy to spend several hours naked in public. The full walk took us around 5 and a half hours including rest stops, so its not for the faint hearted…

Have fun and live naked!

Great nude walk in the sun at the weekend

Marian was at our place for a night at the weekend and as the sun was out we went for a naked walk at Monknash. We basically followed the route described here, but had to go a little bit further along the first beach than we normally do before we got naked and stashed our gear as there was a few textiles out and about.

The girls hadn’t seen each other for a while and wanted to have some fun, so persuaded me to pop a little blue diamond friend and then both “encouraged” me to get hard before we set of on the walk, the idea being to see what happened as we walked 😉

It was as you imagine quite amusing. The walk was great, there was a few textiles on the beach, sunbathing and in the sea, and a few walkers out and about. The cliff top path seemed busier than usual, so we were well exposed to the public which added to the fun. The girls thought it was really amusing to see me walking on the beach with a boner and we walked all the way to the beach below Dunraven castle without any incident and spent some time on the beach there. We did some poking about on the rocks and had a couple of dips in the sea to cool down before we decided to walk back.

I was drooping a bit, so Marian helped me get hard again before we walked back – this was all part of the “amusement” for the girls. On the way back, the beach had got a little busier and we passed some couples walking at the water edge, and a couple of dog walkers. They were a bit surprised to see the three of us brazenly walking naked along the beach, especially given my boner, which of course is exactly what Andi and Marian had wanted. The grins on their faces were priceless.

We saw what looked like one nude couple on the “nude beach” section, tucked in at the top of the beach, and a few guys on the “ledge”. There were no others walking naked on the beach. We got back to our bags on the beach and sat there naked for another couple of hours taking in the sun, and having a couple of nude dips in the water where we could clearly be seen by the textiles who were near us.

We had a great few hours naked, had a great walk, and spend some time nude together on the most exposed and public part of the beach with no problems at all.

What amazing weather to be nude…

Wow, what amazing weather we have been having – perfect for those of us who prefer to live naked. We have pretty much not worn any clothes at all for the last three weeks or so, other than the times that we have to leave the house and be in “public” (apart from on the beach of course).

This weekend we didn’t manage to get very far, other than a few hours at our local secret spot, but we spent most of the rest of the weekend hanging out nude in the garden at home. Basically we didn’t wear anything from around 4.30pm on thursday until I had to leave the house this morning to work. Im pretty sure Andi will still be naked all day today, as she has no pressing plans for today. The only time we needed anything on was for the walk from the car to the secret spot – our driveway is secluded so we can load and get in and out of the car nude.

We had two couples over for a BBQ on saturday evening so that was fun – only one of them (Charlie) likes to get fully naked, so ended up 2 girls and one guy naked, one girl in a bikini and the other two guys in shorts. We had a great evening, it was warm, peaceful with good food and wine, and when the guests had gone, Andi and I had some fun outdoors in the garden 😉

On Sunday we drove down to park up near to our secret spot, and spent  a few nude hours on the beach, sunbathing, reading and swimming in the sea. We have started driving about in the car naked in this hot weather – we can easily get into the car naked on our secluded driveway, then just go. Its really good fun, most people don’t even notice that you are naked in the car – they are too bust concentrating on their own driving. Sometimes the passengers spot us and have  a good gawp,  which we find very very funny, and its amusing in built up areas when people are walking past when you are stopped at junctions and traffic lights and so on. The passers-by usually glance into the cars as they pass by and always get a good eyeful of us.

We had a really great few hours at out secret spot. There was only us there, and it was really very relaxing to be together, nude and on the beach alone. Afterwards, late afternoon, we walked back to the car, and chanced it naked (amazingly we didn’t meet anyone in the two mile walk) then drove home nude, to spend a few relaxing hours in the garden. All in all a fantastic weekend of living naked, both privately and publicly.

We have both decided that we love this way of life so much that we are going to make every effort to be naked even more, if that is possible. Im not sure how we will achieve this, but it probably means being more extreme in the places that we go naked on a day to day basis. If we manage this I will write about it here.

Monknash to Dunraven Naked Walk

Another exposed and potentially very sketchy walk suggested by our mad friends who live near Cowbridge (yes, thats you M&J). Yep, it is sketchy, but so much better for being so, as the enjoyment of the naked walking is enhanced!

You park up in the car park opposite the farm, then walk down the track opposite then the path down through the woods to the beach. Take a right along the beach and when you feel comfortable, find a stash spot and get naked. How far you go before you get naked will depend on how busy it is, how brave you are and of course  finding the best spot for you. This is a textile beach, so it may be a bit to sketchy for some!

Once you are naked, walk down to the waterline and turnt right (west) and continue walking along the first beach till you reach the first wave cut platform. This beach can be popular in the summer, so be warned it may be very sketchy. If you are intimidated by textiles, then you may not be comfortable walking this beach naked when it is busy. It must be said the this is the tone of the whole walk as it is overlooked by the cliff top path which attracts walkers. We enjoy the sketchy nature of some of these walks, and for us it adds to the level of enjoyment. You will also need some footwear to cross the wave cut platform at the end of the beach.

Once across the wave cut platform, the next beach is generally much quieter, and indeed is known as a nude beach locally, so you may find some other naturists enjoying the location. You certainly will enjoy the location as it is a stunning bit of coastline making up part of the Glamorgan Heritage Coast. Keep walking until the next wave cut platform which you cross, then walk to the end of the next beach, which is in an even more stunning location. An amazing place to be naked.

Although it is a beautiful location to spend a couple of naked hours sunbathing and swimming, you will be highly visible to walkers on the cliff top path, and to people looking out from the viewpoint in Dunraven Park up on the cliff top to the immediate west. That really does not bother us, and the two times I have done this walk, to be honest I didn’t see that many people.

Have fun and enjoy the exposure!

We walked Rhossili beach naked at the weekend

We went camping at Hillend campsite at the weekend (25-27 may 2013) and had a great weekend. The weather was sunny all ay Saturday and sunday, although on Sunday there was a very cold wind coming in off the sea making it a bit too cold to walk naked. Saturday however was a different story!

We walked through to the beach just before lunchtime and turned right (north), then walked for about 15 minutes along the beach until it quitened down a bit, then found a spot just up in the foot of the dunes at the top of the beach, not particularly hidden, but a little dip in the dunes, open to the beach and got naked. We lay in the sun for a while watching the world pass by to figure out how busy the beach was at this end.

There was a bit of textile traffic walking the beach at the high tide mark, some of whom took spots not too far from us at the top of the beach to get some shelter from the light wind that was blowing, and there was a few people wandering about down at the low water mark too, mostly in the water enjoying the small surf. The sea was pretty much at low tide, so it was the best time to think about a naked walk as the beach goers were just about as spread out as possible with a good 500-700 meters or so of wet sand down to the low water mark.

After about 45mins of beach watching we decided to go for it and walked naked down to the waterline and turned left (south) back towards the busy middle part of the beach. We had decided that we really wanted to walk the full length of the beach naked, and we were up for the full exposure of the busy part of the beach. Of course as usual we went fully committed, carrying no emergency coverups or swimsuits, we really believe that if you are going to walk naked in public that you should be fully committed to it.

We were surprised to see that in the 45 min or so that we had spent lounging, that the beach around the main entrance from the carpark/campsite had become much busier, and was pretty thronged with the textiles. We were a bit concerned at the number of people, but as we got closer, it as clear that most were concentrated at the top of the beach, and the waterline wasn’t so busy, so we pressed on and kept walking. I will admit that it was a very enjoyable experience walking past the textiles at the water line, and in the main, most people just ignored us. This usually happens – I think most people are so surprised to see a naked couple walking on the beach that they dont know where to look or what to do! We did get a fair few stares from some of the textiles, mostly men it has to be said.

We kept going right to the south end of the beach at the Rhossili end where it got a bit busier again, then turned round to walk back. As we reached the quieter part of the beach, heading north again, just before we reached the busy middle section, we stopped for a chat with a couple of girls, probably in their mid twenties, both of whom were topless, and walking down to the waterline. They were intrigued by our passion for walking naked, and one of them decided right there to take off her bikini bottom and go swimming naked. She said that she was going to try to spend the rest of the day on the beach naked. A convert!

We continued our walk, back past the now even busier middle section of the beach, which as very exiting for us, and on up to the quiet northern end of the beach. On the way we saw one naked guy walking back up the beach to the dunes after a swim, but disappointingly he was the only other naked person we saw on the way. In hindsight, on a public holiday weekend, it was probably a bit too busy for most people to get naked on this particular beach, as it is a very popular spot. When we got back to our hollow at the top of the beach we were surprised to find that a textile couple had sat at the opposite end of the hollow. I think they were probably a bit taken aback by a naked couple wandering past them and sitting down, but they seemed to take it well. We thought it was very amusing.

We spent the rest of the afternoon lounging naked in the sun, reading and taking a couple of walks down to the waterline for a naked swim as the tide came back in. Our textile neighbours seemed to enjoy the view, especially as Andi spent a lot of time with her legs open, and our neighbours, and any close passers by got a good look at her – if she feels comfortable in a location she likes to let people have a good look.

All in all we had a fantastic day, naked on the beach, with a great exposed naked walk followed by a relaxing couple of hours in the sun, and Andi got to show off.
